ARTE NUEVO
16/06/2026 — 30/09/2026
Unconscious fragments
New art is the idea of an imaginary artist born from experimentation and the recycling of leftover materials to create material-based artistic processes. Inspired by the film and music production and creation processes of the second half of the 20th century, it conceives of painting as an energetic and vibrational window onto new paths within art. Formally, it operates from a place of unconsciousness.
This exhibition presents a collection of paintings and sculptures composed entirely of remnants of materials used in the assembly, packaging, and creation of art pieces and projects. The project breathes new artistic life into discarded materials and reinterprets them through a fresh perspective. The works dignify forgotten, abandoned, and incomplete materials, sublimating imperfection.

MONTSE BORDA
06/02/2026 — 16/04/2026
They look
A woman's gaze is a universe of strength and determination. Her eyes reflect the wisdom of experience, the passion of struggle, and the resilience of survival. Her empowered face is a testament to her strength and her ability to overcome obstacles. It is a reminder that true beauty lies in confidence and authenticity. A woman is a being of power, capable of transforming her surroundings into history. Her gaze is a call to action, a reminder that together we can achieve great things.
Montse Borda Olagüe is a Navarrese artist born in 1961, known for her versatility across various disciplines such as painting, sculpture, and ceramics. Her training includes studies at the School of Arts and Crafts in Pamplona and workshops with artists such as Sergi Aguilar and Isabel Baquedano at “Arteleku.” With a career spanning more than three decades, she has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, both in Navarre and beyond. Her works, ranging from stone sculpture to art and recycled installations, reflect a constant interest in experimentation. Projects such as “Women Moments” and “Art and Recycling” demonstrate her commitment to social reflection.

Trail of Gazes
It's a collection of small prints scattered like fragments in a pop-up market. There's no order, no single story—just images waiting for your eyes, your hands, your memory. You're invited to choose, to move, and to create connections. Each photograph bears a trace: of a place, a time, a gaze. Meaning doesn't arrive ready-made; it emerges when you pick up a photograph and pause, when something in it resonates with you.
The exhibition invites a journey between sight, memory and photographs where each image awakens a possible memory, in a space for wandering where vision becomes gesture and stories are formed in the silence between the images.
Beniamin Boar (b. 1978) is a Romanian-born dancer, performance artist, and photographer based in Brussels, Belgium. He trained in Bucharest and at the Hamburg Ballet School under John Neumeier. From 2001 to 2005, he was a member of Rosas, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's company, and has also collaborated with Charleroi-Danses, Thierry De Mey, Les Ballets C de la B, and Ultima Vez. Since 2013, he has worked with Alexandra Pirici and Manuel Pelmuș on projects presented at the Venice Biennale, Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, Skulptur Projekte Münster, Kunsthalle Wien, Museum Ludwig Köln, Van Abbe Museum Eindhoven, and the Munch Museum Oslo. A graduate of the RHoK Academy in Brussels, he is also part of the team of photographers at the Kunstenfestivaldesarts, Brussels.

10/01/2025 — 11/04/2025
Pamplona, 1983. Graduated in Fine Arts in Barcelona, she presents at Maisonnave her most relevant work, which deals with the work of Velazquez, Las Meninas, from an irreverent and very personal point of view. The main theme is the Infanta Margarita in all the versions that I can think of, making from the most friendly and colorful paintings to the irreverent and politically incorrect ones.

Naroa Armendariz
27/09/2024 — 10/01/2025
Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country and with an intense and experimental career in the world of traditional art, Naroa's artistic work is created from a relentless search for a transcendental understanding of the balance of life. This search is reflected in her work both individually, with each painting, and as a group, with the exhibition as a whole.
In this search for balance, he constantly plays with polarized elements such as movement and stillness, visual noise and silence, the abrupt and the subtle, asymmetry, depth and lightness, seriousness and a sense of humor, the spiritual and the mundane.

Guiso Art
01/19/2024 — 04/12/2024
Self-taught artist who seeks to maintain anonymity. We present a very interesting project, since we have been following this artist for some time, who portrays figures from the world of art and culture in Navarre, some of them known from the new art cycle, such as Gorka Beunza or Ana Holmes. He portrays Navarrese bands like Melenas, Chill Mafia or alternative culture characters like Ben Yart. His expressionist style focuses his gaze on portraits that he solves with a genuine and very personal technique.

Anna S Holmes
10/20/2023 — 01/14/2024
Exhibition of the Navarrese artist Ana S. Holmes. We present a selection of works by this artist with whom we have already collaborated throughout this year and who we believe is one of the most relevant talents on the young Navarrese artistic scene.
Pamplona 1996, is a multidisciplinary artist who focuses her work on the study of different aesthetics and works with current or past realities. Not satisfied with the dynamics of competitiveness and academic formalisms, he decides to explore the artistic world outside the classroom independently and self-taught. His colorful, naive and neo-punk style offers a raw and unfiltered vision of the reality that surrounds today's youth.

Juanjo Lazcano
10/06/2022 — 01/12/2023
The figurative painter from Navarre, Juanjo Lazcano, presents an extensive set of watercolors on paper and four oil paintings on canvas, with an impressive reflective and critical sense, combined with a singular handling of humor. In the words of the artist, this exhibition "approaches the digital world in a critical way, not so much to denounce or with the pretense of having the absolute truth, but more as a spark, a small short circuit to make a call to attention against the overexposure of the life glued to a screen... to digital exhibitionism.

Marijose Recalde
In the Artists' Studios. 10/06/2022 — 01/12/2023
The Navarrese creator Marijose Recalde defines herself as a multidisciplinary artist in ancient trades: painting, sculpture and wood engraving.
His works are characterized by the use of unconventional materials, which he likes to rescue in order to prolong their life, experiment with their possibilities and play with them in a new way.
Marijose Recalde presents in this exhibition nine oil drawings on paper previously stamped either with ink or gouache. They are works from this same year and portray artists in their studios. The artist has wanted to return to painting and recover a focus developed in different periods. In the nineties he tried to learn from Monet or Chagall while painting them. In 2000 he portrayed fellow professionals alongside the classics. Some twenty years later he took up the subject again, doing it according to his techniques using a great variety of them.
